Air New Zealand’s Grabaseat will release 200 more flights priced at $1 each-way at 2.00pm today.
This morning savvy travellers snapped up 500 of the airline’s ultra-low $1 flights in just 32 minutes, sparking an online fare frenzy at Grabaseat.co.nz.
Dollar deals available this afternoon include seats in both directions for Auckland-New Plymouth, Auckland-Gisborne, Nelson-Wellington, Christchurch-Wellington and Christchurch-Invercargill.
Air New Zealand Chief Revenue Officer Cam Wallace says thousands flocked to Grabaseat this morning, and the second chance sale is an opportunity for those who missed out.
“Kiwis – this is your ticket to explore a new part of the country or to book a spontaneous catch up with family and friends. We know these deals won’t stick around, so make sure you’re ready to go at 2.00pm.”
