National NFP Conference full of Changemakers

The 2019 National Not-For-Profit Sector Conference has an incredible line-up of change makers and will provide lots of inspiration and perhaps even confidence for those that are going through a change process.

“Let’s face it: 2019 has kicked off with a bang for many of us, and New Zealand continues to experience marked change” says Grow Director Shaun Lines.

“This year’s programme is aiming to inspire delegates from a wide range of New Zealand for-purpose organisations, with the theme being” Changemakers Making Change” Mr Lines continues.

Delegates may be surprised to hear the story of Annah Stretton and her RAW project. Reclaim Another Woman is an inspirational story of women deliberately staying under the political radar, and regaining their independence.

“She is achieving huge results whilst going against the usual trends” Mr Lines says.

“Jackie Blue is another great story. After 5 years as the Human Rights Commissioner, she will be sharing her personal perspective on change including the drive for equity and fairness across society”.

Delegates will hear speakers on organisational change, as well as insights to the change process, tools used and how these has benefitted each organisation in a different way.

“We are delighted that Mavis Mullins has agreed to open the second day, she has named her speech The Truth, and I am very curious to hear her speak as she chairs an organisation that has a 100-year strategic plan – very long-term thinking with the focus on delivering sustainable and health communities” Mr Lines continues.
