Pressure mounting on Ministry of Justice with Strike Action

Published: Tue 6 Nov 2018 11:13 AM
PSA members at Whanganui District Court actioned a lightning strike this morning at 10.30am for two hours.
All PSA members at the Ministry of Justice are being balloted today for wider nationwide strike action this week.
The PSA is calling on the Ministry to make a genuine return to bargaining to reach a settlement for an across-the-board pay increase and revision of the pay system to ensure workers are not unfairly disadvantaged and to close the Ministry's gender pay gap once and for all.
An injunction application by the Ministry to shut down lightning strikes failed in the Employment Court yesterday.
