Plexure scores slot in top ten Absolute IT Supreme Scale Up companies for revenue growth — 2018 TIN Report
Auckland, NZ: Monday 29th October, 2018
Mobile Engagement Software firm Plexure (NZX:PLX) has been ranked fourth out of the top ten Absolute IT Supreme Scale-Up companies in New Zealand, in this year’s highly regarded Technology Investment Network (TIN) Report, announced at a gala dinner Wednesday night in New Zealand.
The Absolute IT Supreme Scale-Up Companies list recognised the Next100 companies (ranked between 101-200 in the TIN200) with the highest dollar value increase in revenue in the past year. Plexure was included due to revenue growth of just over $4.5 million in 2018, an increase of 64% from last year.
The TIN Report monitors the performance of New Zealand’s 200 (TIN100 and Next100) largest technology exporters in the areas of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), High-tech Manufacturing and Biotechnology.
Plexure CEO, Craig Herbison, says he’s extremely proud of the team at Plexure and that the achievement is a reflection of the hard work that’s gone into the company’s focus on global expansion.
“This is a very exciting milestone for us and testament to our effort to expand our international footprint. We now have 86 million users on our platform in more than 40 countries and 22 of those 40 countries started using Plexure’s platform in the first half of this year alone.
“We also have more than 58 million users of our platform in Asia, and more than 21 million customers are using Plexure’s platform in Europe, a 723% increase over the last 12 months,” he adds.
Herbison says there’s no sign of Plexure slowing down, with a new focus on entering the U.S market.
“There’s $400b worth of spend in the US Quick Serve Restaurant and convenience market. With an estimated 10 percent of transactions taking place via mobile by 2020, Plexure’s platform, a new leadership team and a refreshed proposition will serve us well as we strive to secure a share of this growing opportunity.”
