Dali Wins Double Gold Olive Awards

A Martinborough grower, Dali Extra Virgin Olive Oil has won two Gold Medals and Best in Class at the Olives New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards, held in Masterton over the weekend.

Dali was one of only two olive groves in New Zealand to win two Gold Medals in the most important commercial section of the Awards. The other double gold winner was Loopline, which took out the Best in Show Award.

Dali won Gold and Best in Class for Dali Frantoio, in the Commercial Mild section of the Awards.

Dali Picual, a past winner of many awards including Best in Class, won a Gold Medal for Commercial Intense Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Dali won two of the 14 Gold Medals awarded in the Commercial section of New Zealand’s premier olive oil awards.

Dali Olive Oil Maker, Ross Vintiner commented:

“These accolades reward nature, biological growing and careful production at Dali Estate. The healthiest oil tastes the best and the international judges agreed.”
