DuraBuild Joins the New Zealand Certified Builders Association
Warkworth-based builders, DuraBuild Construction, have recently become members of the New Zealand Certified Builders Association (NZCB).
The NZCB Association was founded in 1998 to promote high standards of workmanship and protect homeowners from unqualified builders and unethical practices.
To join the NZCB Association building companies must adhere to the association’s quality standards, these include factors such as the companies stability, continued solvency, lack of complaint from both customers and suppliers and an untarnished reputation.
DuraBuild Construction Director, Mike Bronkhorst says he is very pleased to be part of an association which promotes such a high standard.
“Over the past five years servicing the greater Warkworth region, we have worked hard to build a reputation as a reliable building company who are in it for the long haul”.
“While we feel our work speaks for itself, we wanted to double down on our commitment to good service and offer our customers peace of mind, and protection to their investment”, explains Bronkhorst.
Through their inclusion in the NZCB Association, DuraBuild customers are protected through the Halo, New Zealand’s most comprehensive 10 year residential building guarantee.
The Halo building guarantee is backed by one of the largest insurance underwriters in the world (Lloyd’s of London) and is only available to customers using an NZCB accredited builder.
The Halo building guarantee covers a range of things such as water tightness, loss of deposit, structural defect and other unforeseen costs.
“Over the past 5 years, we’ve worked hard to build our reputation as a reliable local builder, who completes work to a high standard. Now having all our work backed by the Halo guarantee shows that our work is trusted to stand the test of time”.
