FarmIQ Launches New Range of Farm Management Software Subscriptions.
New Everyday FarmIQ pack targets mainstream dairy and livestock farmers.
Wellington, New Zealand Friday 20th September 2018.
A new range of software subscriptions from FarmIQ address the growing information needs of New Zealand dairy and livestock industry.
With a clear focus on the information needs of dairy and livestock farmers, the new packs will help mainstream New Zealand farmers run more productive and sustainable operations.
Darryn Pegram, FarmIQ Chief Executive Officer, said subscriptions start at $55 a month for the new “Everyday FarmIQ” software pack, delivering a broad suite of recording and reporting tools.
“By putting the base pack out at only $55 a month, we’re aiming to give farmers the ideal opportunity to find out how powerful the software can be for them. And with new month-to-month contracts, the risk is extremely low.”
Pegram said farmers are under increasing pressure to prove they are taking animal welfare and environmental management seriously, but options for them are limited.
“Our new software packs are designed to help farmers not only capture and share the right information, but also give them the capability to use that data to help them make operations more productive and profitable.”
FarmIQ helps farmers understand the short and long-term relationship between farm inputs including land, animals, staff and feed, and resulting outputs, namely milk production, fibre and meat.
“This focus on being neutral and open is critical. It gives farmers peace of mind the information coming out of the programme is unbiased, and has their best farm business interests at heart.”
For Dairy farmers, the range comprises a new Everyday FarmIQ pack and a new Enterprise Dairy pack.
For Livestock farmers, the range now includes Everyday FarmIQ, Performance and Enterprise Livestock packs.
Packs are available to purchase today from FarmIQ’s new website: www.farmiq.co.nz.
