Teletrac Navman Selected As Preferred Partners For Leading New Zealand Transport Operator
Auckland, New Zealand, 11 September 2018
H.W.Richardson Group (HWR) has selected Teletrac Navman as preferred partner for group telematics. This partnership will see Teletrac Navman’s suite of GPS-based equipment and software progressively installed into HWR’s 3,000 vehicles and assets nationwide.
Teletrac Navman’s system will streamline HWR’s telematics mangement into one comprehensive solution. This solution includes technology that is fit-for-purpose for the NZ transport industry and regulatory environment, such as RUC Manager.
“HWR has a number of different telemetry systems across our group of companies. We went to the market to select a single provider across our group to further our vision of delivering ‘Game Changing Transport’. Teletrac Navman demonstrated both capability and passion to deliver a solution for us across the HWR Group,” says Brent Esler, CEO, HW Richardson Group. “With a large workforce and a range of specialist vehicles and assets across our brands, top-quality technology is a key part of operating efficiently and safely.”
HWR is one of New Zealand’s largest privately owned companies and transport operators, employing over 2,370 staff across its 46 companies. HWR’s brands operate in multiple sectors including rural and various areas of specialised transport, ready mix concrete, fuel and oil distribution, road and civil contracting, and environmental services.
“We’re looking forward to partnering with HWR, an organisation which has a proven record of embracing change and adopting technology,” said Ian Daniel, Vice President Teletrac Navman, Asia Pacific. “Teletrac Navman are well placed to support HWR’s operations across all sectors, with our experience in connecting drivers, trucks and sites for construction, transport and specialist materials industries.”
