Industry’s top talent were recognised at the Financial Services Council and Workplace Savings New Zealand 2018 Gala Awards ceremony tonight, following the first day of the FSC and WSNZ national conference.
This year, the focus was ‘Shaping Futures’, and the judges looked for how award nominees were championing consumers and innovation in the sector for each of the award categories.
Rob Flanagan, Chairman of the FSC and an awards judge, said “It’s important that we take the time to celebrate the rising stars of our industry and, this year, it was particularly difficult to pick winners from such a high calibre of nominations.”
There were four individual FSC awards, and the WSNZ awarded four organisations, celebrating excellence in consumer communications.
WSNZ Chairman and judge, David Biegel, said “These best practice awards demonstrate the effort and dedication those in the industry put into improving communication. Many congratulations to all the nominees and to this year’s winners.”
Richard Klipin, CEO, said “These awards are important as they shine a light on the good work that goes on in the sector day after day, and reflect just how consumers are at the heart of everything we do.”
