Subdivide Simplified looks to streamline subdividing for first-timers
Recently launching under their new moniker, Subdivide Simplified offers an end-to-end service which allows Auckland property owners to get more out of their land – whether this be through subdivision or minor dwellings.
Formerly operating under New Zealand Homes, Director Troy Patchett wanted to give the company, which has been successfully involved in over five hundred projects, a fresh rebrand for 2018.
“I’ve been consulting with property owners for over 20 years and Subdivide Simplified is essentially a venture founded on everything I have learnt along the way”, says Patchett.
“I want to remove all the stress, anguish and unknown that has sometimes been associated with projects like these and make first time development what it should be – an exciting, enjoyable experience”.
At the beginning of the subdivision process, Patchett sits down with the property owner to assess exactly what they wish to get out of their property, assessing a range of factors before recommending the best solution to fit their needs.
Once a solution has been selected (subdivision or otherwise) Subdivide Simplified then guide their clients through every step of the Auckland subdivision process – from engineering reports, to council consent, to earth works and finally, build or relocate.
While people are welcome to manage such a project themselves, Patchett believes that his experience can really help save first time developers a lot of time, money and stress.
“What most people tend to underestimate is the sheer number of parties involved”.
“Coordinating engineers, building, dealing with the Auckland Council – all very different people who all speak a very different language”.
“Also knowing where to push back on contractors who may be charging for something you may not necessarily need – all aspects which comes with experience”.
Subdivide Simplified are offering a free on-site assessment for Auckland subdivision projects, available now through their website.
