Annies in the running for best kids food product award
Blenheim-based Annies – food you trust and their delicious 100 percent fruit bars has been nominated for Best Kids Food
Product in the 2018 Munch Food Awards.
“We’re thrilled to be nominated again after winning the Best Kids Food Product award in 2016. The public nominate their
favourite products, and the winner of each category is decided by public vote as well,” Melanie Chambers, Kono General
Manager, Sales and Marketing says.
“The Munch Food Awards mean a lot to us because of the public vote. Since the nomination was announced we’ve had heaps
of messages of support from people all over New Zealand.
“Everyone is increasingly conscious of what they and their children eat. Annies fruit bars are made from fruit, and
that's it. There is no added sugar, and no preservatives. They’re a great option for people with food allergies or
intolerances as they are gluten-free, dairy-free, sulphite-free, treenut and peanut-free,” Ms Chambers says.
Back for a fifth year, the Munch Food Awards are run by Munch, a New Zealand company that makes and markets
child-friendly eco-products and offers ideas and recipes online to feed the family.
Voting for the Munch Awards is open until 31 August. Everyone who votes goes in the draw to win a Munch prize pack. More
