Winner of inaugural Property Management Award

REINZ announces winner of inaugural Property Management Award


The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) is delighted to announced that Howard Morley from Auckland Property Management is the recipient of the inaugural 2018 REINZ/Rockend ‘Recognition of Contribution to the Property Management Industry’ Award.

Additionally, REINZ has also awarded a special, one-off, Certificate of Appreciation to acknowledge ‘Long Standing Service in Property Management’ to Helen Hodgson formerly Operations Manager of Barfoot & Thompson.

Bindi Norwell, Chief Executive at REINZ says: “Given his extensive service to the industry over the past 50-plus years, REINZ is absolutely delighted to present this award to Howard, and on behalf of the industry we offer him sincere congratulations. This award pays tribute to an individual who has gone above and beyond in embracing the core values and foundations of the New Zealand Property Management industry. Recipients of this award are renowned for their leadership, achievements and highest professional and ethical standards.”

“Helen’s Certificate of Appreciation seeks to pay tribute to an individual who over many years has gone above and beyond in providing service to the New Zealand Property Management industry throughout their career. After a 47 year career in the industry, well deserved congratulations go to Helen and we wish her well in her new endeavours of retirement where she plans to spend more time with friends, family and travelling,” concludes Norwell.

Both awards were presented at the annual REINZ Residential Property Management Conference on Friday evening.
