Ākina Foundation releases tickets for social enterprise conference
The Ākina Foundation released tickets today for their social enterprise conference. The Aotearoa Social Enterprise Forum is being held on October 19th at the Wellington Zoo in Newtown.
With a little over a year since hosting the Social Enterprise World Forum in Christchurch, the event is the first gathering of New Zealand’s social enterprise sector since.
The one-day forum is aimed at social enterprise practitioners, business, intermediaries, not-for-profits, corporates, public servants, policy makers, and other whānau interested in learning and connecting around the social enterprise kaupapa.
The event will be split across a series of opportunities to engage, including panel discussions, interactive discussions, practical learning workshops, and networking. There will be 14 sessions on offer in total.
Tickets range from $175-270 per person and are being sold on the social enterprise ticketing platform Humanitix, with ticket fees supporting their launch into the New Zealand market.
Sustainability is a key focus for the event. The Ākina Foundation are working with event partners Ekos to offset carbon and have chosen a venue that is CarboNZero certified.
The full programme will be released in September. For more information, visit www.asef.nz
