Media release: 29 June 2018, for immediate release

Healthcare of New Zealand Holdings Ltd (HealthCare NZ) has appointed Louise Zacest, its current Head of Strategy and Service Development, as the company’s Acting Chief Executive.

“I am delighted that Louise has agreed to take on the Acting Chief Executive’s role, to provide continuity as we strengthen and expand our services to support people in their homes and communities,” says HealthCare NZ Acting Chair, Ken Douglas.

“Louise has more than 25 years' experience in the public and private health and financial services sectors, overseeing strategy, investment and business development.”

“Louise’s appointment as Acting Chief Executive will be effective from 30 June 2018.”

“The Board also thanks Jaimes Wood, the outgoing Chief Executive, for his contribution since joining the company in April 2016.”

“Jaimes leaves us with a great team in place, and recent recognition as the fourth best employer in New Zealand,” Mr Douglas says.
