HealthCare NZ joins ranks of top employers

Healthcare of New Zealand Holdings Ltd (HealthCare NZ) is thrilled to be ranked New Zealand’s fourth most attractive employer in new research from recruitment company Randstad, with Chief Executive Jaimes Wood saying this reflects the company’s focus on taking care of people.
“I’m delighted that HealthCare NZ has been ranked New Zealand’s fourth most attractive employer,” Mr Wood says.
“HealthCare NZ doesn’t have a typical workplace – the majority of our 8,000 staff work in the homes of people we support, rather than an office.”
“In a sector where remuneration is often linked to legislation, we aim to attract and retain people on the strength of our work environment. “
“That means we offer flexibility, so people can balance work with the other things that are important to them, and provide a wide range of development opportunities which allow people to keep moving their careers forward.”
“HealthCare NZ is also unique in offering a wide range of rehabilitation, community health, disability support, behavioural support and nursing services, meaning our staff can diversify their work experience and learn new skills.”
“Ultimately, being ranked as New Zealand’s fourth most attractive employer is an endorsement of our focus on taking care of people – both the colleagues we work alongside, and the people we support,” Mr Wood says.
