FRIDAY NIGHT LOCAL LINEUP A RATINGS HIT ON THREE
THE ROCK DRIVE’S THANE AND DUNC SEARCH FOR MH370
Three solidifies its place as the home of local comedy this week, continuing to dominate Friday night viewing for 25-54s
with timeslot wins from hit local comedies 7 Days* (25.4% share, 6.2 rating) and Funny Girls* (16.5% share and 3.1 rating), as well as a win from The Graham Norton Show (22.9% share, 6.5 rating).
After the success of last Monday’s Dancing With The Stars NZ elimination episode which won its timeslot with a 23.6% audience share and 8.1 rating point, the dazzling dancing show
is averaging a 25.1% share and 8.7 rating amongst the commercially important 25-54 demographic. Latin week continues
tonight, with two more stars taking to the stage, before another celebrity will be forced to turn in their dancing
shoes.
Monday night also saw Inside Crime win its timeslot amongst 25-54s with a 17.0% share and 2.8 rating, and Tuesday evening saw a timeslot win from strong,
long-running drama series SVU with a 16.5% share and 3.2 rating. Sunday Blockbuster Pitch Perfect won its timeslot last night with a 23.2% share and 5.8 rating. The second instalment of the hit franchise screens this
coming Sunday after Dancing With The Stars NZ.
This Wednesday night sees the return of US crime-fighting favourites NCIS: LA and Hawaii Five-O, as well as the premiere of brand new Australian property series Buying Blind, hosted by The Block’s Shaynna Blaze. And catch the season finale of local comedy hit Funny Girls* this Friday night, after 7 Days* on Three.
Over on radio, The Rock Drive’s Thane and Dunc are on their way to Mauritius as they start their search for the missing
MH370 plane. The boys will be reporting back on their Drive show throughout the week, and more information is available here.
The Edge Safe House, fed by Burger King, kicked off this morning. Guy and Sam from The Edge Workdays have been taken
somewhere in New Zealand with $10,000 cold, hard cash in a safe. Guy and Sam will be put through their paces in a series
of challenges, leaking clues and giving two attentive listeners the chance to win $5,000 each, either by knocking down

Also this morning, The AM Show announced that it will be embarking on a road trip like no other in July. Supported by Chorus, the two-week road-trip
will see The AM Show broadcasting from four iconic New Zealand destinations - Queenstown, Nelson, Napier and Rotorua - showcasing the
people, places and stories of each region alongside the news of the day.
Hosted by Duncan Garner, Amanda Gillies and Mark Richardson, The AM Show is simulcast live on TV and radio. Taking this
cross-channel show on the road is an unprecedented move with the whole show - set and all - being packed up and taken to
each of the four locations and set-up in time for the show to start before 6am each morning. Date are as follows:
Queenstown (July 2nd - 4th), Nelson (July 5th - 6th), Napier (July 9th - 11th) and Rotorua (July 12th - 13th).
