Fed post: it’s time for the US Fed to deliver, again. And they will leave the RBNZ behind.
• Trump left the G7 meeting in flames,
by refusing to endorse the communique. Trump lashed out at
Canadian and German manufacturing. We can’t wait for his
meeting with Kim Jong-un.
• The US Fed will almost
certainly deliver another rate rise this week, taking the
upper bound to 2.0% (above the RBNZ’s OCR)..
• The
RBA left their cash rate on hold at 1.5% last week, and the
RBNZ will leave the OCR on hold at 1.75% the week after
next.
