Chairman and incumbent director returned to
Silver Fern Farms Co-Operative Board
Rob Hewett and Fiona Hancox have been re-elected to the Silver Fern Farms’ Co-operative Limited’s Board of Directors.
The results of the election, which closed at 3.00pm on Monday, 16 February 2018, were:
• Rob Hewett: 28,849,257
• Fiona Hancox: 18,193,756
• Conor English: 14,046,529
• Chris Allen: 4,595,285
The total weighted vote represents 62.68% of total shares, compared to the 55.36% turnout in the previous election in December 2015.
The voter return percentage was 34.77% of eligible shareholders. This is up 11.05% on the December 2015 return of 23.72%.
Votes were received from 993 eligible voters from 2,856 eligible voters.
To become eligible, ordinary and rebate shareholders needed to meet requirements that included supplying a minimum level of stock for processing over the previous two annual supply periods.
