Spark delivers loaded value with Huawei P20 and P20 Pro
Spark has today announced that it will be offering the long-anticipated Huawei P20, with $250 account credit, both online at www.spark.co.nz and instore when customers purchase 24-month interest-free on all current pay monthly mobile plans. Those holding out for the world-first triple lens P20 Pro can also take advantage of this limited offer by pre-ordering instore before 8 May.
Spark’s General Manager of Customer and Marketing, Richard Sandford says it comes to no surprise that The Huawei P Series was ranked top for its excellent photo and video quality, above any other smartphone to date according to DxOMark.
“We believe New Zealand is going to love what the new Huawei P series has to offer. It delivers leading-edge technology at a very competitive price point and because Spark is making it available on any of our current value-packed pay monthly mobile plans, there’s no better time to be with Spark.”
What’s more – a couple of weeks ago Spark announced that, with Facebook, it was launching the Tall Shorts Film Festival. Budding cinematographers are asked to submit a two-minute, portrait (or ‘tall’) format video on their smartphone for the chance to win $10,000.
“The Huawei P series has been reviewed as taking the best quality video of any smartphone currently available, as a result, we think this could give our customers the edge when it comes to capturing cinema-esque video equipped with superb image stabilisation, the flexibility to keep filming a perfect picture even in the night and a closer zoom than ever before,” says Sandford.
Huawei P20 delivers stunning Leica Dual Cameras and is armed with a 5.8” FullView Display. A radiantly bright display brings all your favourite Lightbox shows to life, while consuming less battery power than similar devices. They are pushing the boundaries with their new and improved AI-driven photography system which recognises the scene you’re framing and colour balances your photograph automatically. It then adjusts the settings to ensure your photos pop like never before. AI image stabilisation allows you to capture incredible blur-free, handheld shots in low-light using Night Mode.
The P20 Pro takes all the features from the P20 but adds an extra layer of goodness. Featuring the impressive and world-first triple rear camera – topping 40MP! The Pro also has a larger display (6.1” vs 5.8”), a bigger battery (4000mAh vs 3400mAh) and 6GB of memory (vs 4GB on the P20).
The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro will be available in midnight blue in the 128GB variant. For more details on pricing and data plans please visit https://www.spark.co.nz/shop/mobile
