Climb on board for the NetHui Roadtrip 2018
InternetNZ are taking their highly successful NetHui on the road this year to three regions around New Zealand and are looking for contributors and hosts to come on board.
The NetHui Team at InternetNZ are calling individuals, organisations and networks interested in digital, the Internet and surrounding topics to submit ideas or become hosts for a one-day NetHui in their town via our quick and easy Trip planning form open until 20 April.
NetHui is about discussions, not presentations. Participants set topics and lead conversations with attendees. People share their own experiences as well as their expertise, so when a NetHui session ends everyone feels like they learned something new - even if they were experts in the topic to begin with.
Feedback and ideas from the Trip planning forms will be used to select three cities for the 2018 Roadtrip, which will be held in September or early October. Expressions of interest are open until 20 April and the three selected cities and dates will be announced in late May.
The NetHui team will work with local partners to tailor and build the programme for each event, connecting people with similar interests to ensure the day is about the issues that matter most to the local community. Each event will be live streamed for those who can’t attend in person.
