NZCU South Adopts New Age Banking System
AUCKLAND, 9 APRIL 2018: NZCU South has completed its move to Oracle Flexcube tier 1 banking system making it New Zealand’s third credit union in the last 8 months. This is part of Co-op Money NZ’s core banking replacement programme with Oracle.
NZCU South CEO Tania Dickie says, “Migrating to Oracle Flexcube is one of our three strategic deliverables for 2018 and we are glad to have achieved this for our 20,000 members just after the first quarter.
“The tier 1 banking platform will lay an impeccable foundation for our other strategic initiatives, such as improving business structure and streamlining business processes, and we look forward to translating this into better customer experience over the next few years.
“Oracle Flexcube is a flexible and robust IT core banking system based on a service-oriented architecture. Service and customer centricity is essential to a member-owned organisation like us, for our performance, our members and their experience,” Dickie added.
Co-op Money NZ Interim Chief Executive Jonathan Lee comments, “The successful migration for NZCU South is our third deployment of Oracle Flexcube. This highlights our strong expertise in delivering IT projects to financial organisations of different sizes and complexity. Well done NZCU South.”
Co-op Money NZ has also delivered Oracle Flexcube to ACU in August 2017 and NZCU Baywide, the largest credit unions by assets in New Zealand, in March 2018. Six more customers will move to Oracle Flexcube later this year.
