Future You scores another global gong
Kiwi Wealth’s online KiwiSaver account planning tool, Future You, has received another international accolade.
Future You* was named runner-up in the Ongoing Investment Education category in the Eddy Awards at Pension & Investment’s international conference in Miami recently.
The annual awards recognise defined contribution schemes that help educate and motivate participants in retirement income planning and management.
Ramesh Naran, Senior Manager, Digital and Innovation at Kiwi Wealth, said the accolade was further recognition of Future You as a world-class solution.
“Being listed alongside some impressive names is a great endorsement, particularly given the vast amount of resources many of the global providers have in comparison to Kiwi Wealth and further demonstrates that what we are doing here in New Zealand is world-class.”
Last year, Future You was runner-up in the innovation in communications category at the World Pension Summit Awards at The Hague and named Best KiwiSaver Member Experience at the Workplace Savings Awards.
“Future You has been purposely designed and developed to give members of the Kiwi Wealth KiwiSaver Scheme greater understanding and control over what their financial future will look like in retirement,” said Naran.
“Evidence shows people struggle to get a clear sense of how decisions made today might affect them down the track, so we built Future You to give them a clear picture of aspects of their retirement income.
“We’re regularly adding functionality to Future You to help our members influence their retirement income. It’s now a very powerful and effective planning tool that’s recognised as one of the world’s best, and another great example of what Kiwi Wealth provides members when they look beyond the balance and see what additional value they receive as a member of our scheme.”
Entries at the Eddy Awards came from leading global pension scheme providers. The Ongoing Investment Education category (over 5000 members) was won by Schneider National (United States). Kiwi Wealth’s Future You and E Gallo (United States) were second equal, with American Express and Ralph Lauren third.
