City & Guilds has been officially named in the top 100 Business Superbrands 2018 in the UK. City & Guilds was also awarded the top spot in the ‘Education, Training and Development’ category since 2009.
Superbrands influential annual survey identifies the UK’s strongest business-to-business brands that are assessed on three key criteria: quality, reliability and distinction. The annual Business Superbrands survey considers thousands of brands that are independently chosen by both an Expert Council and by individual business professionals from across the UK.
David Phillips, Director of Marketing, Apprenticeships and Technical Education at City & Guilds, said: “To be in in the top 100 ranking in the Business Superbrands list alongside so many other well-regarded brands is a real honour. We’re especially delighted to be named as the top brand in our field."
“The strength of the City & Guilds brand is one of the key things that sets us apart from our competitors. The businesses and governments that we work with often do so because they know that our brand signifies high-standards."
“Our brand and our heritage is incredibly important to us, so to be recognised as a result of the hard work we’ve done to maintain and evolve the brand with our customers and other stakeholders is really fantastic.”
City & Guilds story started in 1878 and began working in the Pacific region 30 years ago, developing catering training initiatives for the New Zealand Army. Their latest product offering includes Digital Credentialing and Assured – a recognised service that adds value to any type of training no matter the content, format or length.
