Google Cloud rolls further into
regions working with Hamilton based Dynamo6
Dynamo6,
the cloud services and bespoke software specialist, has been
appointed as a Google Cloud partner this month, to join a
growing network of specialists across New
Zealand.
Dynamo6 is the first Waikato born and bred
company to become a partner, after two senior systems
engineers, Andrew Milne and Dominik Feiler, gained their
certifications.
Igor Matich, managing director of
Dynamo6, says the partnership is indicative of Google
Cloud’s approach to building a network of the best experts
nationwide:
“There are many Waikato businesses
looking at cloud transformations and when it comes to
working with anyone on a change like this, being local is
best,” he says.
The addition of the Google Cloud
Platform (GCP) to Dynamo6’s repertoire caps a stellar five
years for the business with it expanding its business from
Hamilton into Auckland and the Bay of Plenty.
Part of
this growth has been through extensive work with G Suite and
Google Chrome, including migrating and optimising
operational processes, particularly in
education.
Being a Google Cloud partner adds to
Dynamo6’s existing Google expertise and means being able
to leverage Google’s full offering for clients, as well as
offer the full suite of cloud services from all the main web
services players.
“Some call this an agnostic
approach to Cloud but we think this is a very passive
description, where we see our role as being very active in
understanding a business first and then guiding it on the
best cloud platform, or multi-cloud approach, for now and
into the future,” Igor Matich says.
“We are delighted we fit the Google Cloud mould as a partner, as a specialist and collaborator, a developer of apps and builder of code. They are a discerning global player, developing a network of great partners - we’re in very good company.”
Dynamo6 is a five year old business that
works for a wide range of clients, mostly in the upper North
Island, but also some national organisations. It uses
digital solutions to make businesses better, specialising in
cloud, mobile and web development solutions and helps people
work smarter, faster and more cost-effectively, while being
better connected, anytime,
anywhere.
