Walk to Work Day Wednesday March 14, 2018.
This year’s theme is ‘increasing the walking part of your commute’.
Living Streets Aotearoa members are working hard organising the yearly Walk2Work event on March 14.
In Auckland people that walk to work on Wednesday 14 March are rewarded with a free breakfast between 7 and 9am in Pigeon Park the corner of Symonds St and Karangahape Road.
People can either grab a coffee and their breakfast on their way to work, or sit for a minute, relax and have a chat with other walker commuters.
In Wellington Living Streets are hosting two walks and WCC councillors are leading 6 other walking talking opportunities see http://www.livingstreets.org.nz/walk2work for details.
"Adding walking to your daily routine is a great way to keep body and mind healthy. Walking solves everything" says President Andy Smith
