Serko & ATPI Group Sign Agreement to take Zeno global
Auckland, New Zealand and London, UK. 27th February 2018 – Serko Ltd. (SKO.NZ), a leader in online travel booking and expense management for business, and global travel management and events business ATPI today announced the finalisation of a binding strategic alliance agreement, following entry into a Memorandum of Understanding confirmed in November 2017.
The agreement is significant to Serko’s global expansion strategy and will see Zeno, Serko’s premium travel and expense platform, rollout globally across the ATPI Group.
Under the terms of the agreement, ATPI is licensed to offer Serko’s Zeno technology to new and existing customers in more than 50 countries across Australasia, UK, Europe, North America, Africa and Asia for the next five years. The first customer site, in the UK, is scheduled to be implemented in mid-2018.
Zeno is an integrated travel management and expense platform that will transform the way ATPI’s corporate customers around the world make and change travel arrangements. Intelligent journey planning and best fare access to airlines, hotels, transfers and car rental in a single interface provides the most cost-effective door to door travel experience for corporate travel. Serko’s Marine, Energy / Gas and Resource group technology is also key to the overall partnership and Serko will provide exclusive features to ATPI to enable this sector of the industry to enhance how they manage overall travel programs.
Darrin Grafton, Serko CEO, commented: “From inception we designed Zeno to be a globally scalable platform and this partnership with ATPI is an important initial step in the realisation of that vision. This partnership enables Zeno to be offered to customers in more than 50 countries and it is a significant milestone on our journey. Zeno will give corporations real choice, and the benefits of what we believe is the best global platform for travel and expense.”
Peter Muller, International Board Director ATPI – said “As a leader in the corporate, energy and marine sectors, we’ve been amazed at how quickly Serko can solve the challenges others have not been able to address within our markets. This global agreement will give ATPI clients access to the only solution that is designed for the future. Serko and ATPI have had a long relationship in Australia and we are one of Serko’s longest standing customers, so this agreement builds on the foundations of an exceptionally strong partnership to the benefit of our mutual clients.”
