Global Speakers Summit 2018 ‘From Leader to Legacy: A Global Journey’ 23 – 26 February
Ngahihi O Te Ra Bidois, the voice of Siri, Karen Jacobson, and Dustin Mathews – the marketing genius behind Tony Robbins and Brian Tracy – are just three of the speakers who feature on day one of the Global Speakers Summit which kicks off tomorrow morning (Friday).
The three are part of a contingent of 72 international thought leaders who are presenting at the Global Speakers Summit – the biggest gathering of high profile influencers outside the United States in 2018 – for four days from 23 to 26 February, at Sky City in Auckland.
Brought to New Zealand by The National Speakers Association of New Zealand's (NSANZ), the event features the world’s top thought leaders from more than 20 countries, including the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, South Africa, Russia, Belgium, France, Romania, Singapore, Germany, Ireland, Pakistan and Brazil.
NSANZ's Elias Kanaris, who is also the President-Elect of the Global Speakers Federation, says the summit – particularly the day of the 23rd, which is ‘corporate day’ – offers an opportunity for New Zealand organisations and entrepreneurs to meet and learn from some of the world’s foremost thinkers.
“Legacy’ business is now a global mega trend as more and more corporate companies embrace the concept that business goes hand in hand with making a difference for the planet and its people.”
Speakers will include female Black Hawk pilot and combat veteran, bestselling author Elizabeth McCormick, comedic speaker Paul Huschilt, the voice behind Apple's Australian Siri Karen Jacobsen and international business phenomenon Dave Van Hoose, who took his first seminar-based sales company to number 35 on INC Magazine’s list of 500 Fastest Growing Companies.
Bringing the Global Speakers Summit to Auckland, only the 5th to be held since 2000, is expected to earn the city more than $2m in revenue and is a considerable achievement because Auckland had to be beat out Monaco, the USA, Germany, the UK, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia for the rights.
