ProCare’s data-driven decision-making delivers results

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND: ProCare is driving operational efficiencies and enhancing member engagement with its data-led patient assessment and reporting capability enabled by data solution specialist, Qrious.

As New Zealand's largest primary health network of 180 family doctors (GPs), nurses and general practice teams, ProCare provides community-based healthcare to more than 800,000 people across the Auckland region – and is now using live data to track and measure patient care effectiveness to help improve the health and well-being of Aucklanders.

“We upgraded our members website to include an interactive web portal that reports actual versus target performance against key quality metrics. By linking our CMS to patient records in a secure compliant way that protects the privacy of patients, our members can now use a live, digital dashboard to drill down into the metrics and see where action needs to be taken. This saves time and makes important information more easily accessible for our member practices,” says ProCare CFO & GM Corporate Services, Tony Wai.

“More and more, our members are using this kind of live data in everyday activities, as well as to guide major decision-making in their health practices, and we are really seeing the results from these actionable insights.”

“Primary care is seeing significant change, and the role of technology within general practice is being led by the way our members want to access health services: securely and online – both of which Qrious has enabled us to deliver,” he says.

Our specialist data science and analytics experts worked closely with ProCare to deliver a tailored solution.” says Leach.
