Top firm wins five of six deals at national law awards

MinterEllisonRuddWatts’ reputation for helping clients get the country’s most complex and technically challenging deals done was cemented at the New Zealand Law Awards last night.

At the prestigious annual industry awards celebrating excellence in the legal profession, the top tier firm was awarded five out of the possible six deal awards:

- New Zealand Deal of the Year - Allnex acquisition of Nuplex Industries

- Capital Markets Deal of the Year - Synlait Milk’s capital raising and dual listing

- Consumer, Media and Tech Deal of the Year - NBC Universal-MediaWorks for Bravo channel launch

- International Deal of the Year - Silver Fern Farms share sale

- M&A Deal of the Year - Allnex acquisition of Nuplex Industries
