George Ngatai Businessman and Entrepreneur supports Regional Investment
Businessman George Ngatai was pleased that NZ Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern pwants to enrich Māori prosperity.
"We have to deliver for Māori and no one will be holding us to account for that more than our own Māori MP's." she said in Rotorua at the FOMA annual meeting.
The PM also said “What strikes me today is how much potential we have in working in partnership together; to create jobs, to support our regions, to make sure that economic growth actually benefits our communities.
Ngatai knows that the $1 billion dollar regional economic development investment announced by this government will benefit Maori and the wider region.
My goal is to support regional economic development through employment opportunities getting those who are unemployed or having ideas in business to start dreaming and implementing their ideas with results.
Unemployment is high in regions and usually Maori large in numbers. We need to reduce this number and supporting ideas that are well written and well supported is what I do.
George Ngatai speaking from the JT FOXX Mega Success Conference in Los Angeles says “the world is your oyster and opportunities for those living in regions will come to fruition”.
I grew up in rural NZ and today live in Auckland. Through the support I got in the region I have worked hard to achieve the things I have today which includes an interview with A List Actor Mel Gibson about what we do back home.
This investment from the new government will assist many others to reach their potential.
