Generating Connections Showcases NZ's Energy Future
Generating Connections Showcases New Zealand’s Energy Future - Sustainable Electricity Association of New Zealand
The Generating Connections Conference
and Technology Showcase which runs in Hamilton from
23rd-25th November will highlight the important role solar
PV, battery storage, and related technologies have in
helping build New Zealand’s electricity network of the
future, event host the Sustainable Electricity Association
(SEANZ) said today.
SEANZ chair Brendan Winitana said “Generating Connections has something for everyone including training for solar installers on new technology products as well as bringing the key stakeholders together in a pan-industry panel to discuss the future shape of the industry.” That includes regulatory, lines company, retailer as well new technology representation.
“As the growth in solar and battery storage uptake continues and its value in providing grid-resilience is realised, more and more players are entering the market. Event participants share the latest industry insights from both international and local luminaires to ensure the industry is driving in the right direction at this important time in its development” Mr Winitana said.
“This year we have added a free Technology Training day to the event so that installers and designers and other industry participants can share and understand the latest in solar, battery storage and energy management technology”
“Generating Connections will be our most diverse event yet as we will are covering regulation and policy as well as technology and consumer engagement,” said Mr Winitana.
Generating Connections runs from the 23rd to 25th of November at SkyCity Hamilton. For more details and to register visit www.seanz.org.nz/generating-connections
