Dr Tom Mulholland to keynote 2017 iSANZ Awards
Media release – 7 November 2017
The Board of iSANZ (Information Security Awards New Zealand) is pleased to announce that Auckland Hospital’s Dr Tom Mulholland will deliver the keynote address at the 2017 iSANZ Awards.
Dr Tom Mulholland is the founder of the Healthy Thinking Institute. He has hosted his own TV and Radio shows, written two internationally best-selling books and been a professional speaker to the likes of Google, Microsoft and Hilton for the last 10 years.
The emergency department physician is focused on helping making communities healthier and happier. He is part way through a fundraising ‘mission’ in his retro ambulance - traveling around the country doing house calls, raising awareness of health issues such as diabetes, smoking and cancer, and producing webisodes and a TV series.
Now in its third year, the iSANZ Awards promote excellence in information security by recognising the achievements of the best of the country’s information security professionals and companies.
MC’ed by New Zealand television personality Te Radar (Andrew Lumsden), the 2017 iSANZ Awards will be held on 21 November at Te Papa Museum, Wellington.
There are still tickets available, including table of ten packages. Tickets can be purchased at https://isanz2017t.lilregie.com/step1
Winners will be recognised in five categories – Best Security Project / Initiative, Best Security Awareness Campaign, Best Security Company of the Year, Best International Superstar, and Up-and-coming Cybersecurity Star. A person, event or organisation will also be crowned in a special, nominated Hall of Fame category.
