Truck Brands in Race to Secure Prime Spots
The success of previous shows has caught the attention of major truck dealers. Lining up this year for the TMC Trailers Trucking Industry Show on 9th and 10th March 2018, which is posed to break new records.
HEAVY TRUCKS first to secure prime space to show off the latest MAN and WESTERN STAR TRUCKS.
SYME DARBY are show casing HINO, MACK, VOLVO, UD along with Truckstops. So, a good display so far of the new truck brands. A testing driveway will be set up so test drives can be conducted in a safe area. There is nothing better than putting customers in an environment that they feel comfortable in.
Industry suppliers Bridgestone, CTS, TWL, SIlodec and others are early bookings.
By moving the show to a larger location enables a better layout and a lot more activities.
Friday Trade Day is now also a Careers Day. The plan is to promote the show to all the local high schools, universities and training organisations and invite them to book a guided tour. Groups will have a specific guide to take them on a “look behind the scenes of the trucking industry”. Pre set times mean that we can focus on what’s important to a group at the same time arrange for industry leaders to interact with the group. Students will get to talk to an actual trailer manufacturer, a diesel mechanic, telematic installer and so on. Truck rides in the various brands of trucks and will finish with a sausage sizzle. We will need a lot of volunteers to help run the day for careers. Please contact the organisers if you would like to help out.
Trade day is the day that companies exhibiting can host customers. This day is up to the exhibitors to promote, the show organisers will just coordinate programs but its up to the exhibitors to send out invitations.
Lots of kid’s activities are planned which makes this a full family day out. Plenty of food and entertainment all day.
TMC Trailers Trucking Industry dinner rounds off the day at the TMC Trailers Factory. The tickets are limited so you will need to book now. www.truckingindustryshow.co.nz
