Wanaka Website Finalist in Prestigious Awards
Wanaka, New Zealand (Monday October 9, 2016) The Wanaka website has been recognised for its high standard of design,
shortlisted as a finalist in the Designer Institute of New Zealand, Best Design Awards.
The image centric, visually stunning website designed by Christchurch based web company TimeZoneOne to reflect the
refreshed Wanaka brand, launched in December 2016 and was selected in the Large Scale Website category of the awards.
Lake Wanaka Tourism’s General Manager James Helmore said, although we didn’t take out the win, just being a finalist in
these prestigious awards is a win, in itself.
“We are very proud to be recognised as having one of the ‘best’ sites out there, and this accolade is a welcome
endorsement from such a respected industry led organisation.
“Not only visually appealing the website is really delivering - with a user journey that is seamless, faster and
ultimately easier for visitors to discover all the things to see and do in the region, resulting in lead generation to
our Wanaka business listings, which are up an incredible 87.85%.”
