H opening date confirmed for Queensgate Shopping Centre
H, one of the world’s largest fashion retailers, will open its first Wellington store in Queensgate Shopping Centre on
Thursday, 26 October 2017.
H will be spread over two levels in Queensgate’s Centre Court, occupying approximately 2,700m2 of floor space.
Stride’s General Manager Shopping Centres Roy Stansfield says that the H store is expected to be a major drawcard, attracting shoppers from the wider Wellington region.
“We’re delighted to have the commitment of such a high-calibre brand to Queensgate Shopping Centre and to Wellington,”
says Mr Stansfield.
“As we prepare to open H we are also readying sites for brand new stores, and stores that are returning, relocating and upgrading. We expect
many of these to be completed before the busy Christmas period. These include Skechers, Bed Bath N Table, Health 2000,
Portmans, Merchant, Bed Bath and Beyond, Boost Juice, and a number of others that we look forward to announcing in due
course.

offering. It signals the beginning of an exciting new phase in Queensgate’s evolution.”
