Double Gold for Pā Road Rosé at China Wine & Spirits Awards
te Pā Family Vineyards has cleaned up at the annual China Wine & Spirits Awards, with its 2017 Pā Road Rosé winning a sought-after double gold medal.
The China Wine & Spirits Awards are the biggest and most prestigious wine and spirits competition in Hong Kong and China. The CWSA has a reputation around the world as a barometer for beautiful, fruit-forward wines, so te Pā is delighted to have several of its wines take out Gold medals in this year’s competition.
Medal haul at CWSA
te Pā’s soon-to-be released 2017 Pā Road Rosé turned heads at the CWSA, taking out the double gold medal, which company owner and director Haysley MacDonald says is a tremendous honour and a fantastic accolade for a great value wine found in most supermarkets across New Zealand.
The company also had a number of its other wines take out gold medals at the awards, including its 2017 Pā Road Sauvignon Blanc, 2017 Pā Road Pinot Gris, and 2016 Pā Road Pinot Noir. The expressive 2017 te Pā Sauvignon Blanc from te Pā’s flagship, premium range also took out a gold gong.
Pā Road Rosé
With its salmon colour, and hints of copper hues, Pā Road Rosé is a sophisticated, crisp and easy drinking wine. Gentle floral aromas and a hint of lush berries and fruits, with melon, peach, strawberry and raspberry highlights taking centre stage. Refreshing acidity and a medium body make this a subtle and satisfying wine, made in a Provence style.
NZ Stockists
The Pā Road range of wines is available in Liquorland, Fresh Choice, New World, Pak n Save and good liquor retail stores, nationwide. te Pā welcomes customers to get in touch directly if they need a hand to find local stockists. For trade interested in listing or stocking the wine, please contact te Pā Family Vineyards’ NZ distributor Beverage Brothers for info and pricing.
