Carrington Estate rises out from underneath the Peppers brand to stand independent and proud.
The start of a thousand new journeys.
Karikari Peninsula, Northland September 1st, 2017 marked an exciting day for Carrington Estate as they became independent of the Peppers Brand to stand proud with a strong vision for their future.
CEO Jack Hu says Carrington Estate is a place at the centre of a thousand journeys, where explorers are warmly welcomed.
Situated on the stunning Karikari peninsula, Carrington Estate lies at the heart of the Northland region; blessed with authentic, warm-hearted people and a beautiful, seemingly untouched, landscape. Featuring an 18-hole championship golf course, winery, fine dining restaurant and a good variety of accommodation options, Carrington Estate is unmatched in the region. “We offer an experience which is as unique as Northland is beautiful” says Jack Hu.
On the estate, guests can enjoy the championship standard, Matt-Dye designed golf course, breaking after the first 9 holes for a lunch of local and estate-sourced food, paired with estate-grown wines. For those seeking to relax and luxuriate, the onsite massage room and heated infinity pool surrounded by sweeping panoramic views are sure to please. Active relaxers will be handsomely rewarded by the picturesque, ambling path to the sea, winding through the expansive natural wetlands and dunes before emerging onto the white sands and azure waters of the pacific.
Outside of the estate, Cape Reinga, 90-Mile beach, Mangonui, Kaitaia and Kerikeri are all close-by. The splendour of Matai Bay is in quick reach, as well as some of the finest fishing in New Zealand. “Northland is a wonderful place year-round, with each season offering a range of things to see and do” stated Jack.
However visitors fill their days, each evening is something to look forward to thanks to Carrington Estate’s elegant and inviting fine dining restaurant. “The restaurant offers a seasonal menu, which is beautifully prepared and presented. Coupled with medal winning estate-grown wines and the wide open spaces, it’s truly special. Somewhere to relax, breathe and revive.” said Hu.
With so much to enjoy on and around the Estate, it’s no surprise that Carrington Estate’s accommodation has been thoughtfully planned. For couples, the incredibly spacious luxury lodge rooms are just a short stroll from the fine dining restaurant and make for a charming romantic getaway. Families and smaller groups can spread out in the three-bedroom villas bordering the Golf Course. Groups of up to 8 can opt for Carrington’s luxury houses. These recently built and exquisitely finished properties offer a luxurious home-base in the nearby surrounds with access to all the facilities of the estate.
Carrington Estate is supported in its journey of independence by ReserveGroup with a new strategy and website - officially launched 1st September 2017 - www.carrington.co.nz. With exciting plans for Carrington Estate ahead, watch this space.
