Exporters get the love from PAN agency

PAN spreads the love from Waikato to the world

ExportNZ Waikato has announced a strategic partnership with advertising agency PAN® to deliver marketing expertise to its growing membership.

ExportNZ Waikato is part of the Employers and Manufacturers Association and works with more than 500 exporters from the Waikato exporting commodities, manufactured goods, services and technologies by providing practical support, connections, programmes and events to help them thrive, prosper and be globally competitive.

Waikato ExportNZ executive committee chair Niall Fuller of Hunter Filling Systems said: “PAN is ideally positioned to partner these businesses to provide strategic brand, marketing, and digital marketing support to improve their experience in overseas markets.”

Agency head Graeme Blake has spent years in Asia, USA and Europe promoting lifestyle and wine packaging technologies and has a deep understanding of the sheer scale and challenges faced by exporters.

“You get one shot at selling in these vast markets and your one shot simply has to count,” said Graeme.

“The international trade show scene can be a lot like speed dating and without the right suit, smile or sales pitch you can find yourself desperate and dateless at the end of a gruelling trip.”

PAN is a creative powerhouse with brand marketers, digital technologists, media strategists and professional story tellers who specialise in taking ideas, products and entire businesses to market.

“Understanding the nuances of specific markets is all-important and requires research and collaboration with other exporters plus a decent amount of belief and bravery,” said Graeme.

“t's important to understand the scene, the expectations and the potential when we work with our export clients no matter which markets we work in.”

PAN key account manager Kelli Crawford has spent several months championing the opportunity to partner with ExportNZ Waikato, working closely with executive officer Sharon Robertson to deliver a working relationship set to raise the bar for Waikato exporters.

“We are massively excited at the prospect of marketing professionals of this calibre to be involved with our exporters,” said Sharon.

“Their collaborative approach impressed our executive and they have a string of successful clients in markets all around the globe from healthcare to technology, raw materials and bleeding edge software, they are a perfect fit for the association.”

“We can't wait to get amongst more of the Waikato’s exciting export projects,” said Kelli.

“Our specialist marketing and digital talent matched with some of this country’s finest products opens up immense opportunity for regional growth.”

William Durning, chief executive of the Waikato Chamber of Commerce, a member-based organisation that also partners with PAN, congratulated ExportNZ Waikato and PAN on their announcement.

“At the heart of New Zealand’s business growth agenda is the ability to trade globally,” said William.

“Our region has a proud tradition of exporters and exporting success and this is exactly why partnerships like this, where Waikato businesses support each other to project New Zealand on to the international stage, puts the Waikato at the heart of business in New Zealand.”

A launch function is set for September where exporters will be guided through PAN’s extensive suite of marketing services. A warm invitation is extended to all ExportNZ Waikato and EMA members.
