Another New Zealand software success story

Another New Zealand software success story, Inspired by Grant Dalton's recent words finally revealed!
MAGIC CHRONO PRESS RELEASE 28 June 2017
Team New Zealand CEO Grant Dalton’s comments after yesterday’s America’s Cup victory were timely. "The biggest software company in the world just got beaten by little old New Zealand software," he said of the historic win that showcased Kiwi design ingenuity and a “nothing is impossible” problem-solving ethos.
As Nelson Mandela said, "as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same”, so little NZ IT start up Magic Chrono Ltd is now going public about their own Kiwi-designed software, that ultimately beat back the unsolvable problem of the world's third largest oil company, Exxon Mobil.
Magic Chrono’s innovations director Christopher Harder said the 'Oil Giant' had tried in vain for five years to solve the problem of restricted space on the company’s high risk health and safety e-forms. A boardroom edict required the e-forms be one page only if they were to go paperless.
The Magic Chrono team - Harder, coder/developers Nipun Sharma and Ruitao Su of Lesscode, and Geoff Keen, the IT Assets manager for Clarksons Electrical, subcontractors to BGIS in regards to all Mobil NZ work) brainstormed the Exxon Mobil problem and created what it now calls Magic Chrono’s Super Feature.
It was successfully demonstrated to Exxon’s global assets manager Tom Tucker, of Irving, Texas on Black Friday, November 13, 2015 with the "head of Mobil Asia" Greg Hodgdon later confirming in a November 2015 email that their "visit was a success, thanks!"
The Magic Chrono team started by adding more intelligent questions on the input side of the Magic Mobil app, then built in a wrap text feature and font size reduction.
Although Exxon’s New Zealand lawyers Kensington Swan, described the ideas on their own as “hardly novel”, with their combination in a unique order then activated with a zoom-to-preview feature in real time, they suddenly became bigger than the sum of their parts – and voila! Exxon’s problem was solved.
Mr Tucker, Exxon Mobil's top representative at the "successful' Magic Mobil App demo, on seeing the technology in action exclaimed "You have cracked it! You have quadrupled the amount of real estate available to us on a one page high risk form!"
Mr Keen previously praised the Kiwi ingenuity of Magic Chrono's Christopher Harder in a review their Clarkson H & S e-Form App in which he extolled "the drive from you Christopher is beyond normal and is priceless how you think up things that “normal” people would not."
It’s how a little Kiwi IT start-up solved the conundrum that the $268 billion oil giant had failed to beat in the sort of David and Goliath battle that we’ve seen play out in Bermuda this week.
Says Harder: “I am sure there are many more kiwis out there with similar creative genius that only need to identified, then encouraged to develop and grow. For New Zealand software designers, nothing is impossible!”
