Three Wins Sunday Night with Return of the Block NZ, Mediaworks Welcomes Polly & Grant to Morning Radio
Three won the night on Sunday across all four demographics with season premiere of The Block NZ winning its timeslot in 25-54, 18-39 and 18-49. The Block NZ rated an 8.1 with a share of 21.5%, beating competing shows in the same time slot. This is up 14 percent year-on-year in the 25-54 demographic versus a 7.1 rating for launch in 2016.
This season the teams have just 12 weeks to complete their three-storey family homes - each has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a double garage and roof terrace. The footprint of the houses is almost identical, so the teams will need to really push the boundaries and showcase their design skills like never before if they want to earn the highest price on auction day.
Sunday nights blockbuster premiere Furious 7 also won its timeslot across all four demographics.
Earlier in the week, The AM Show won all four demographics on Thursday morning. Friday night saw The Graham Norton Show (25-54, 18-39, 18-49),Live at the Apollo (25-54, 18-39, 18-49) and Fail Army (25-54, 18-39, 18-49) each win their respective timeslots.
