Fruitful Sponsorship for Netball Super Club
Annies - food you trust, a subsidiary of food and drink business Kono, are proud to announce their Platinum sponsorship of the new Super Club netball competition, which will be held in Nelson 2-7 July.
“Super Club is a great partnership for us. Hosting an international sports tournament in Nelson will be a great showcase for Te Tau Ihu – the top of the South, and a fantastic opportunity for us to also share our Annies fruit bar range with those who head along,” Rachel Taulelei, CEO Kono says.
“Super Club will bring elite netballers from New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Wales, Trinidad and Tobago, and Fiji to the top of the South. We’re looking forward to being a part of the event, and offering our manaaki (care and generosity) as for many it will be there first time in this part of the world”.
“Kono has a passion for health and wellness and this is a great fit for Annies – it’s a food you can trust. Our 100% natural fruit bars will be fuelling players with loads of energy. They’re a healthy option for a perfect pre- and post-workout snack, made from 100% fruit, with no added sugar, and are gluten and dairy free. So easy to pop in a sports bag, or for the kids heading along, their lunch box,” Ms Taulelei says.
“We are delighted to have the Annies team on board as one of our partners. It’s great to have the support of the local community for this new international club competition,” says Jennie Wyllie, Chief Executive, Netball NZ.
The partnership will also offer great opportunities for local children to get up close with the star netballers, including “Train with a hero,” and ball boys and girls for the matches. Be sure to jump online and join up with the Annies – food you trust Facebook page as we will also be giving away tickets, competitions and other prizes.
