Kinetics Crowned NZ Partner of the Year

New Zealand partner recognised for outstanding solutions built on Microsoft technology

Auckland — June 8, 2017 — Microsoft Corp. has announced that Kinetics Group has won the 2017 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Award for New Zealand.

Kinetics will be celebrating their victory at Microsoft Inspire in Washington next month, alongside the winners of 34 global awards. The Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Awards honour partners that have demonstrated business excellence in delivering Microsoft solutions to multiple customers over the past year.

‘Partners are the lifeblood of our business and that’s why this award is so important. It recognises partners developing great innovation using Microsoft technology,’ Jared Pedersen, Partner Business & Development Lead, said of the win. ‘This is a well-deserved win for an innovative company, leading the way in our partner ecosystem by focusing on the customer’s need to get the most out of the dollars they spend on IT. ‘

Achieving recognition at the global level are two other New Zealand Microsoft partners who achieved Finalist status in award categories of their own.

The first is NV Interactive, who were named Finalist in the Technology for Good Category for their innovative Azure-based Festival Platform, targeted specifically at the non-for-profit arts festival sector.

The second New Zealand Finalist award was given to a partnership entry by Intergen and, again, NV Interactive. Together these two Microsoft partners were recognised in the Public Safety and National Security category, one of the Public Sector awards. Their Mobile Response App (MRA) is a true cross-platform mobile application with has helped the New Zealand Fire Service reimagine the First Responder experience and provides a user-centred mobility tool ‘designed by firefighters for firefighters.’
