Themselves lovers of sophisticated coffee table books, the pair became sick of spending time wading their way through impersonal website algorithms suggesting “other people purchased” books they might like.

So, they set out to find books they knew they liked and mycuratedtable.co.nz was born.

"There's so many beautiful books out there, where on earth do you start?" says co-founder Vanessa Wills.

"We wanted to create a space where you could read reviews from genuine book lovers who have done the hard work for you; vetting the books, making sure they're something you want on display in your home.

"What you have in your home speaks volumes about you - who you are, what you love and how you view life. Our aim was to create a list where you could find something for anyone.
