Forsyth Barr to join family of F.A.W.C! sponsors

Hawke’s Bay Tourism the organisers of F.A.W.C! are delighted to announce their newest sponsor Forsyth Barr.

Winter F.A.W.C! is in its fifth year and the event series has now firmly established itself on the national food and wine scene. Winter F.A.W.C! will see 64 events span five weekends from 9 June – 9 July.

John Owen, Forsyth Barr’s Head of Advisory says “Chefs follow a recipe, investing is no different. Combining research, market data and personal investment goals requires skill and care to deliver a great outcome.”

Forsyth Barr will open F.A.W.C! with the “Winter F.A.W.C! Forsyth Barr Opening Gala” to be held at the Old Church on Friday June 9.

The Winter F.A.W.C! Programme will be released on Thursday April 27 with tickets going on sale on Monday May 1, 2017.

Hawke’s Bay has a global reputation for the quality of its wine and the incredible food grown here, making it the perfect place to host a food and wine festival. The event has grown considerably since the first year, getting bigger and better each year.

Hawke’s Bay Tourism General Manager and F.A.W.C! organiser Annie Dundas said the organisation is delighted to have Forsyth Barr join the F.A.W.C! family of sponsors. “We are delighted to welcome Forsyth Barr, a supporter of our region and its people. We look forward to working with their local investment advisory team and growing this year’s event in partnership with them.”

F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic, is a seasonal event series held twice a year in Hawke’s Bay. Winter F.A.W.C! is held every June and Summer F.A.W.C! is held every November.

F.A.W.C! is organised by Hawke’s Bay Tourism and sponsored by Forsyth Barr, Electrolux, NZ Sotheby’s International, Air New Zealand, Hawke’s Bay BMW, the Hastings District Council and the Napier City Council.
