Entec presents Gas Detection solutions to Taupo Business Safety Forum
Entec presented at the Taupo Business Safety Forum last month after receiving an invitation to feature their products at
the event. Entec specialises in mechanical, instrumentation, electrical and gas detection solutions for New Zealand’s industry.
The Taupo Business Safety Forum features a wide variety of businesses based in and around the Taupo region, including
tourism, dairy processing, geothermal power, construction, health and safety consulting and healthcare.
The event allows local businesses to share and discuss what they are doing with regards to health and safety in an
effort to further improve worker safety throughout the region.
In addition to the sharing of resources the forum advances the vision of creating zero harm workplaces through promoting
a strong workplace safety culture.
Entec presented its range of portable and area gas detection products to the forum members. This included the Industrial Scientific Ventis Pro and Radius BZ1 products, both of which feature
the new LENS wireless technology.
Entec demonstrated the wireless functionality to the Forum by simulating an alarm on one device. With the instruments
all linked together wirelessly, the alarm notification was relayed to other users within the vicinity.

The presentation to the Forum has led to an increased level of interest in these new products.
