Aura Information Security Bolsters Leadership Team
Aura Information Security has appointed industry expert Tom Moore to the role of Practice Manager for its New Zealand and Australian operations.
Tom joins the Aura team from Datacom, where he worked as a Principal Security Consultant for three years, before taking on management of the Datacom Security Professional Services business in 2015.
As Aura’s Practice Manager, Tom will be responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of Aura’s consulting business on both sides of the Tasman.
According to Aura Information Security General Manager, Peter Bailey, Tom brings a wide range of experience and expertise that will be invaluable to the business as it enters a period of strategic growth.
“We’re experiencing more demand for consulting services than ever before. Tom’s experience leading and mentoring teams in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, as well as design and implementation of innovative cyber security solutions, will ensure that we continue to provide the same level of service our customers are used to. This will be of significant value to us as we continue on our journey of being a leading Australasian provider of cyber security services and solutions.”
Tom started his career in the United Kingdom more than 15 years ago holding various positions with organisations such as Instem Life Sciences, Virgin Media, Unilever, and Avecto. During these years he has developed particular expertise innovating information security strategies and projects, and growing collaborative high performance professional services teams that deliver them to market.
Tom will be based in Wellington and will travel to Aura’s Auckland and Melbourne offices on a regular basis.
