Financial support available for Westpac NZ customers affected by recent flooding
Westpac NZ is committed to helping customers impacted by recent flooding and is offering a relief package for both business and personal banking customers.
The bank has a range of support options available* including:
• A temporary overdraft facility;
• The ability to stop home loan repayments for up to three months;
• A temporary reduction in home loan repayments (e.g. interest only or extension loan terms);
• Immediate withdrawal for Term Investments and Notice Saver PIE.
Support available for business customers includes temporary overdrafts or deferring payment of business credit cards.
Any customer who has been impacted by severe flooding should call us on 0800 400 600 to discuss their individual needs.
Alternatively, they are welcome to visit a local branch if they’re able to.
