NZ GDP for Q4 has just been released

The NZ GDP for Q4 has just been released.

The GDP for Q4 came worse than expected:

Adjusted GDP Q4/ Annual:

GDP +0.4% / +2.7% Consensus +0.6% / +3.1%

NZ GDP over the last 12 months was +3.1% (consensus was 3.2%).

The NZD is lower in immediate response, however the NZDUSD remains higher, and NZDAUD lower, after the US Fed raised interest rates this morning.

Current indicative levels are:

NZDUSD 0.7000 / 0.7020
NZDAUD 0.9085 / 0.9110
NZDEUR 0.6515 / 0.6540
NZDGBP 0.5695 / 0.5720
NZDJPY 79.35 / 79.60
