Dimension Data New Zealand to Harness the Power of Digital Disruption
New Zealand, 19 December – In today’s digital world it is disrupt or be disrupted. Dimension Data New Zealand has
established a new Digital Practice division to drive transformation and innovation for its New Zealand clients.
In New Zealand we are seeing more and more clients face transformation at a pace never experienced before, says
Dimension Data New Zealand Head of Digital Solutions Diljit Bolla.
“Businesses are recognising the need to build new customer-centric business models and we are seeing investment in
digital technologies and business transformation become a top priority.”
Dimension Data is investing aggressively in digital transformation, says Bolla. “We are focusing on expanding our
capabilities in technology platforms, including business process automation, Internet of Everything, data analytics and
end customer experience.”
The New Zealand division will be backed by Dimension Data’s global Digital Practice division which boasts more than
2,000 employees. “Our global team gives us the kind of research base many New Zealand companies just can’t achieve
alone,” says Bolla. “Globally we can invest in technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, machine
learning and real-time data analytics. By also having a specialist team in New Zealand we can better introduce
technologies to our clients right here. It is a very exciting time and the possibilities are endless.”
Dimension Data New Zealand has brought in two digital transformation experts to lead the new division. Steve Wotten, who
has more than 20 years’ experience in technology, will lead the digital practice capability, consulting and solutions
teams. Glen White has a track record of delivering digital business solutions within large and complex organisations.
Wotten and White will work with a diverse local ecosystem of partners to provide clients with the infrastructure,
applications and “new ways of working” they require to enhance their customer’s experience, whether they’re running
workloads on-premise, through a hosted model or in the cloud.
“We are excited to explore the new digital frontiers with our customers in order to make a real difference to the way
that they do businesses in this fast-changing environment. We want to ensure our clients have a real competitive
advantage in the digital space, drawing on our local and global IP.”
