Southern Cross Health Society appoints new CEO
Southern Cross Healthcare Group today announced the appointment of a new CEO for its health insurance arm, Southern Cross Health Society.
Nick Astwick joins the Health Society after 13 years at Kiwibank and will continue to build on the society’s market-leading position.
“Out of an exciting field of high-calibre candidates, Nick was a clear front runner for us. His extensive financial services background and commercial capability were particularly appealing as we continue our focus on delivering value to our 825,000 members,” says Southern Cross Chairman Greg Gent.
Nick will start in his new role in February 2017, replacing Peter Tynan, who has been with the Health Society for 12 years.
